1 Kendra 1:2
Fear the remnant. 2. What is the remnant? By definition a remnant means a surviving trace of what existed before.
In the bible, the remnant is used in [Isaiah 10:20]
"In that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean on him who struck them, but will lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth."
Today, the remnant are the black Americans who survived the transatlantic passage of death, they've walked through the valley of the shadow of death, even unknowingly at times, and every step of the way, we survived. And yet even today, so many of us find ourselves leaning on those who struck us. Dependency on money, greed & capitalism is modern enslavement. When will we realize that now, today, prophecy has been fulfilled, but God will not force us to lean on him instead of a system of oppression, it is our choice. Provision, true provision comes from a higher power that cannot be touched by man.
