We landed in the Americas & Caribbean.
For 373 years (est. 20 generations) those humans were enslaved into free labor, human bondage/slavery, sex trafficking, physical abuse of children/women/men, forced removal from family, etc.
1866: Juneteenth, the last of the enslaved people in the Americas are no longer denied their right to ear wages. It has been 155 years since the last of those tortured masses were made aware they no longer were subject to free labor. Only free labor, none of the evils at he hands of white people, only the free labor.
1870: Black MEN were no longer denied their right to vote 1937, following this begins an Immortal Age of Black Renaissance.
1884: Ida B. Wells refuses to give up her train seat
1903: WEB DuBois publishes "The Souls of Black Folks"
1937: Katherine Dunham forms the Negro Dance Group
1950: First Black Americans play in the NBA
1960: The Civil Rights Era
1980 : Benjamin Chavis report: "Toxic Wastes and Race in the United States: A National Report on the Racial and Socio-Economic Characteristics of Communities with Hazardous Waste Sites" & Michael Jackson releases Thriller
